This policy explains what information Solar Stories collects through www.solarstories.co.in, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. We keep it deliberately short, because we deliberately collect very little.
The only form on this website is our enquiry form. When you submit it, we receive the name, email address and message you type into it. That is all it asks for. The form is emailed to us at sales@solarstories.co.in and is not stored in any database on this website.
If you contact us by phone, WhatsApp or email instead, we will hold whatever you choose to tell us in that conversation.
Like almost every website, our web server keeps standard access logs — your IP address, browser type, the pages you requested and the time you requested them. These are used to keep the site running and secure.
We do not run an online shop. This website has no user accounts, no logins, no shopping cart and no payment processing, so we never ask for or receive passwords, card numbers or bank details through it. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
We use your enquiry details for one purpose: to reply to you and, if you go ahead, to quote for and deliver the solar products or installation you asked about. We do not sell, rent or trade your information to anyone. We do not add you to marketing lists you did not ask for.

Solar Stories does not set any advertising or tracking cookies of its own. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site will still work.
Enquiry emails are kept for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations, then deleted. Server logs are kept for a short period for security purposes.
Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may ask us to access, correct, update or erase the personal information we hold about you, and you may withdraw your consent at any time. Write to us and we will act on it.
We take reasonable measures to protect the information you send us. No website or email system is perfectly secure, however, so please do not send sensitive personal or financial details through the enquiry form.
We may update this policy from time to time. The revision date at the top of this page will always tell you when it last changed.
